What you will need to prepare Greek coffee:

  • Oasis Greek Coffee
  • Sugar
  • Briki
  • Demitasse cups
  • Water

How to prepare Greek coffee:

  1. Using very cold water, use a demitasse cup to measure the amount of water needed for each cup of coffee (one cup per serve). Pour this water into theĀ briki.
  2. Add in coffee and sugar required for desired number of cups.
  • For unsweetened coffee, add in one heaped teaspoon of coffee for each cup.
  • For medium-sweet coffee, add in one heaped teaspoon of coffee, and one teaspoon of sugar for each cup.
  • For sweet coffee, add in one heaped teaspoon of coffee, and two teaspoons of sugar for each cup.
  • For extra strong, sweet coffee, add in two heaped teaspoons of coffee, and three teaspoons of sugar for each cup.
  1. Turn on the heat to medium-low, and stir until the coffee dissolves. Do not stir again. Heat slowly so that the crema rises to the top before boiling.
  2. When crema rises to the top, remove from heat.
  3. Stand for thirty seconds.
  4. Distribute crema evenly amongst all cups, and then fill cups with remaining coffee.
